Taking on the Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival Key Visual was a special milestone for me—it was my very first project of this kind. I was deeply grateful that Wan Qing Yuan and Yean Lin Low trusted me with such an important task.
They provided a list of motifs to work with, and my challenge was to weave them all into one harmonious scene. Along the way, I explored different ideas, including fish-shaped lanterns gliding through the garden, which became one of my personal favorites. Although that concept wasn’t chosen, I was glad they appreciated the colors I suggested. Beyond the main artwork, I also created adaptations for EDM, social media, and the website, ensuring the festival’s spirit carried across different platforms.
